Safer Internet Day – check your privacy settings

Today is the World Safer Internet Day, and a good day to stocktake your privacy settings, and here are some good tips.

Actually, any day is a good day to check your online privacy settings. If you’re too busy to check, then at least have a look at the simple things that you might not be aware that you share ‘privately’.

With all the recent changes to privacy settings in Facebook, Google, and others, it is very interesting to use a search engine to see what is visible to others. But don’t just look for your name, try your address, email, and telephone number too.
