Parents Christmas gift technology guide

If last year is any indication to this year, 85% of presents given to children were technology. Since then there have been many changes in privacy, and all the tools have received some big changes. Here are some of the changes, and some tips to help you set up your devices.

• Apple has updated their mobile operating systems to iOS7
• Windows 8 has become more mainstream
• Numerous Android updates have been and gone
• Facebook has
  • modified it’s privacy agreements
  • added a maps app to disclose locations you have visited
• Instagr.am has also changed it’s privacy agreement to:
  • take copyright ownership from uploaded files
  • allow advertisers to advertise on you photos without paying you for it.
